Tien-Lung - Web Development Solutions
...was started in 2007 by James Alvarez. He was studying Computer Science at the University of Exeter, in his penultimate year. He was asked whether he could put the knowledge he had learned at University toward creating a website for a friend of the family. He did just that and loved every moment of it, from then on he decided to create Tien-Lung as his freelance sole trading business. James is primarily a web developer , meaning his passion is for the back end business logic and coding for websites, the sort of stuff that goes on behind the scenes of every website. Although he does have some website design experience he prefers to get other freelance designers to work for him. By using this network of freelancers he is able to produce quality websites rapidly and in-expensively.

Pricing
X
Tien-Lung charge between £100-£500 to set-up a simple website. The vast majority of people's websites fall into this bracket. Although if you are looking for something more then contact us for a quote.

The cost of a website is two-fold. First are the set-up costs, second are on-going costs.
Set-up
This is the cost involved in getting your website live, i.e. for a web developer to create code for your website and put it on a server somewhere ready to be switched on and published to the world wide web
On-going
There are several on-going costs to consider:
Hosting space Your website has to live somewhere on a server which can cost around £5-15 a month depending on the complexity of the website. You will either pay a hosting company direct, or through your web developer
Domain name(s) Your domain name is the name you type into the address bar to reach your website on the internet. e.g. www.tien-lung.co.uk It costs between £4-9 per year to keep the name registered
Maintenance costs You may decide to keep an on-going relationship with your web developer to facilitate updates and changes to your site. If so a cost will need to be agreed beforehand.
